Social movements and new political culture in direct action of capital age
Abstract
This paper’s theme is the new configurations of power in capitalist civilization,
conceptualized as “direct action of capital,” the transformation of the political space in
the sphere of control and repression and forms of resistance that are being built by social movements. Thus, one glimpses a reconstruction of the public sphere with the formation of a new political culture.
